The Project

About Us

ASD Soccer Trani was founded in 2012 with the goal of becoming a reference point for youth football, putting development, growth and sporting values at the center.

Over the years the project has grown into one of the most important youth academies in Puglia, with over 400 kids involved in a structured technical and educational path.

For about three seasons, Soccer Trani has extended its vision to the first team as well, building an ambitious and competitive project. After winning both League and Cup, from the 2026/27 season the club will compete in the Eccellenza championship.

Alongside sporting results, the club stands out for a modern approach to communication, with a strong digital presence: the Instagram profile generates over 4 million monthly views, helping to make the club one of the most followed and dynamic amateur football brands in Italy.

Soccer Trani today combines tradition and innovation, with the ambition to grow over time and best represent the city on and off the pitch.

Our youth academy is the beating heart of Soccer Trani. With over 400 kids involved, it's one of the most important in Puglia. Led by Gianni Di Leo, we welcome children from age 5 through a technical and human development path that values every talent.

The Soccer model forms people first, players second. The values instilled — respect, dedication, team spirit — are the legacy every kid takes with them in life, even beyond football.

From the streets of Trani to major national tournaments: Universal Youth Cup vs Manchester City, F.L. Supercup, Campioni in Tour. The Soccer Trani academy is a champions factory.

A.S.D. Soccer Trani complies with the Policy issued by the Italian FA (F.I.G.C.) — Youth & School Sector in collaboration with UEFA and Terre des Hommes, and is committed to ensuring that football is a safe, positive and inclusive experience for every child and teenager, regardless of age, gender, orientation, ethnicity, religion or ability.

Our ongoing commitment to child safeguarding is an integral part of everything we do: from the selection of collaborators to the choice of partners, from training sessions to matches, tournaments and away trips.

▶ Awareness
Staff, executives and collaborators trained on abuse risks. Families informed about expected codes of conduct.
▶ Prevention
Careful selection of sports staff, background checks and codes of conduct signed by everyone on staff.
▶ Reporting
Clear procedure for any suspected abuse, in direct contact with the FIGC regional Delegate.
▶ Response
Prompt intervention to protect the minor involved, with precautionary suspension and disciplinary measures.

Antonia Pondrelli
Executive trained in child protection and safeguarding matters. Receives reports, provides first-level support, oversees correct Policy implementation, and coordinates with the regional Delegate and the national FIGC structure.
